Just found out my dog has diabetes

Question

devastated rn. hes only 7. vet says its manageable but im scared. anyone have experience with diabetic dogs? what should I expect?

my dog was diagnosed 3 years ago and hes doing great now! the insulin shots seem scary at first but you get used to it. hang in there

its definitely manageable. biggest thing is keeping a consistent feeding schedule. same time every day
